(WP) Diversity design in electrical system The scope of work is to provide KEPCO E&C with engineering support for optimization of the diversity design of EU-APR1400 Electrical System. KEPCO E&C is responsible for the design of EU-APR1400 which will apply for the Design Certification of EUR. The EU-APR1400 will be an improved design of APR1400 with the necessary changes to enhance safety and to fully comply with European regulatory requirements.
The Contractor performs the following work activities: A. Preparation of requirements and operating experiences in European Countries - Contractor prepares requirements for CCF in the safety-related electrical power system in European countries. - Contractor prepares the operating experienced diversity design. B. Review of the KEPCO’s diversity design - Contractor reviews the KEPCO’s diversity design method for the safetyrelated electrical power system. - Contractor prepares recommendations or comments on the KEPCO’s diversity design. - Preparation of diversity design used in the NPPs in European countries The corresponding items that KEPCO wants to acquire information are as follows; - Medium voltage bus / switchgear between safety trains - Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) and Station Black Out (SBO) generator - Multi-function digital relay (applying 2 out of 3 logic scheme) - Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system (chargers, batteries, inverters, distribution panels, etc.) The Contractor prepares a report containing the outcomes performed in the work activities in the above. |
