Overview
KEPCO E&C is engaged in technology development and related projects to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and respond more resiliently to climate change. This includes carbon-free power generation, such as hydrogen and ammonia co-firing alongside renewable energy; the production of clean hydrogen including green and blue hydrogen; and the field of CCS(Carbon Capture and Storage).
As a public company, we are fostering new businesses in various fields such as solar energy, hydrogen, fuel cells, and WtE(Waste-to-Energy) to enhance competitiveness and achieve sustainable environmental values. In 2024, we aim to complete the construction of the offshore wind farm in the Jeju region, installing a total of 18 wind turbines, the largest capacity in Korea.
In addition, building upon the success in large-scale projects, we are expanding our business scope as an EPC(Engineering, Procurement and Construction) company in the field of power generation facilities, going beyond the existing engineering services to include equipment procurement and power plant construction.
