KEPCO E&C is a key player in the global energy market beyond Korea. We have completed comprehensive design and reactor system design services for the UAE nuclear power plant, Korea's first exported nuclear power plant, where KEPCO E&C’s technology is concentrated. Units 1, 2, and 3 are currently in commercial operation, and Unit 4 is nearing completion. The project owner recognized KERPCO E&C’s technological prowess and granted follow-up long-term engineering services for the UAE nuclear power plant..

Moreover, we have expanded our business domain area from the existing engineering focus to an EPC company that performs design, main equipment purchases, and construction. This is expanding our role into the power plant overseas business sector, such as winning an order for an EPC project for the expansion of the Takoradi T2 power plant in Ghana.
In addition, the US NRC-DC certification of APR1400 and EUR Rev.E certification of the standard design for APR1000, the Korean medium-sized nuclear power plan for export to Europe proves the excellence of Korean nuclear power plants. We are also participating in the ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) project to expand our standing in nuclear fusion, which is considered an infinite clean energy source for the future.
