Korean standard combined cycle power plant
At KEPCO E&C we are developing a combined cycle power generation model to foster domestic gas turbine industry, positioning it as a next-generation new growth engine based on domestic gas turbine design, manufacturing, and performance. We are also playing a leading role in achieving design standardization for the high-efficiency and eco-friendly Korean standard combined cycle power generation by applying the USC steam conditions for the first time in the world through system optimization of power plants, performance analysis, and design criteria establishment.
KEPCO E&C has leveraged our optimal system design expertise to develop a Korean combined cycle power generation model that applied integrated heaters and recirculation pumps to a heat recovery steam generator in order to produce heating energy based on the operation mode.
