Relocation of coal storage indoors
The Enforcement Rules of the Clean Air Conservation Act, amended in 2019, includes a new clause mandating that the power generation companies with outdoor coal storage relocate these facilities indoors.
Accordingly, KEPCO E&C is working with four power generation companies on the projects of relocating coal storage indoors. As for Taean Units 9 and 10, this project is under way as an additional task.
