Transmission projects
At KEPCO E&C, we have extensive experience and advanced technology ranging from 154kV, 345kV, 765kV UHV to 500kV HADC (high-voltage DC transmission). In addition, we are providing the optimal technical services required for transmission line design based on our various track records and technologies such as transmitting high-voltage direct current through submarine cables between Jeju Island and the mainland. In particular, we successfully carried out the design for the world's first ultra-large offshore 345kV transmission tower foundation and Korea's first 765kV UHV transmission tower foundation. We are also following through with the design for 500kV HVDC transmission tower foundation.

Substation project
KEPCO E&C has engaged in transmission and substation construction projects to ensure stable supply of electricity generated from power plants to end users such as industries and households. We have played a leading role in substation design, equipment procurement, construction, and supervision projects for AIS(Air-Insulated Switchgear) and GIS(Gas-Insulated Switchgear) substation, starting with the design of the 345kV Shinjecheon substation in 1979, extending to stepping up the voltage from 154kV to 765kV. Major projects include the design of GIS for outdoor substation facilities, standardization design of indoor substation, preparation of 756kV substation design standards (draft), design services for 765kV Shinanseong and Shinseosan substations, the overseas 230kV switchyard design and equipment supply project, and the 500kV substation turnkey project.
