Green clean hydrogen
Green clean hydrogen
KEPCO E&C is researching to demonstrate a system for producing green and clean hydrogen and using it as power plant fuel for hydrogen energy that has recently emerged as a practical alternative in responding to climate change and securing domestic energy security.
Green hydrogen using renewable energy and clean hydrogen produced using nuclear energy is clean energy that does not emit GHG during the production and utilization stages. They are expected to contribute to fulfilling the obligation of reducing GHG emissions and secure energy security by diversifying national energy resources. KEPCO E&C participates in various government-led demonstration projects to secure these technologies.
