Green and clean hydrogen
At KEPCO E&C, we are conducting research to demonstrate the systems for producing and utilizing green and clean hydrogen as fuel for power plants, which are emerging as practical solutions for addressing climate change and ensuring national energy security.
Renewable energy-based green hydrogen and nuclear energy-based clean hydrogen are clean energy sources that emit no greenhouse gases during the production and utilization phases. They are expected to play a significant role in achieving national greenhouse gas reduction commitments and ensuring energy security by diversifying national energy sources. To build capacity in these technologies, KEPCO E&C is participating in various government-led demonstration projects.
