Gas engine power plant EPC project in Indonesia
The project, initiated through a contract between the Indonesian Electricity Authority (PT. PLN) and a Korean-Indonesian consortium comprising KEPCO E&C and Adhi Karya (an Indonesian public construction company), aims to construct one 30 MW unit in Sumbawa, situated east of Jakarta, Indonesia, along with one 20 MW unit and one 10 MW unit in Tobelo, located northeast of Jakarta. KEPCO E&C assumes responsibility for procuring and transporting main equipment, as well as providing project management support for the EPC project. Gas engine power plants boast low carbon emissions, offer flexible operation with small-scale facilities, and feature relatively short construction periods. Anticipating growing demand in Indonesia, an island nation, we aim to secure new business opportunities based on the success of this project.
