Content
KEPCO E&C acquired the international standard ISO 37001, anti-bribery management system certification, from the Korea Knowledge Standards Registrar on November 18.

The ISO 37001 anti-bribery management system represents the international standard set forth by the International Organization for Standardization to combat corporate corruption and bribery in order to promote fair competition.

To acquire the certification, KEPCO E&C went through a four-day evaluation process from October 31 to November 8. The initial screening reviewed management activities, processes, organizations, and major achievements related to anti-bribery efforts. In the second screening, field investigations were conducted to examine the efficacy of the relevant management system, including the implementation of applicable restrictions based on the assessment of bribery risks.

Based on the first and second screenings, KEPCO E&C was judged to qualify for the certification and was recognized to possess the capabilities required of an ethical company operating an anti-bribery system.

KEPCO E&C will continue to engage in upright and ethical management practices, realize advanced ethical management and prevent ethical risks.
