It began with power plants built with our own technology. Over the past 40 years, we’ve come a long way, acquiring expertise in energy technology. We have contributed to Korea’s energy self-reliance, enriching people’s lives. Today, our technology is a commonly used standard across the world.

Here at KEPCO E&C, We’re constantly developing our technology so that nuclear power, thermal power, and new renewable energy can best meet these goals. Along with this, we’re concentrating our effort on developing technology for new sources of energy.

Design safe & sound energy.

KEPCO E&C is the only Korean company that has developed and expanded technology for designing nuclear power plants. Our unparalleled technology spans the areas of safety, a must-have for nuclear power, and cost-effectiveness, which is nuclear power’s biggest advantage.

The OPR1000, the first nuclear power plant we developed independently, is Korean standard nuclear plant; The APR1400, the Korean Next Generation Reactor, is sold in the global market; and the APR+ has the top level of safety. 

KEPCO E&C’s outstanding technology not only satisfies customers but also creates even greater value.

Strict and meticulous standards are maintained in the work done at KEPCO E&C. I feel proud to work with KEPCO E&C, and through our cooperation I’ve also gained the confidence that our energy technology can change the future and the world. 

KEPCO E&C is collaborating on building SMART, the System-integrated Modular Advanced ReacTor, and the international thermonuclear experimental reactor. We’re working hard to develop a technology for nuclear decommissioning. Safety is our top priority. We’re at the forefront of delivering this core value.

Climate change is one of the global issues facing us. Thermal power plant design is no exception. The design technology needs to become more environment-friendly. To this end, We at KEPCO E&C are developing next-generation thermal power plants with green technologies. In addition, we are providing eco-friendly engineering services to minimize pollutants at power plants that are already in operation. 

We’re proud of our advanced technology. It makes our thermal power plants more economical and eco-friendly. KEPCO E&C is successfully carrying out EPC projects for thermal power plants.

We’re building a new kind of thermal power plant in the global market as we increase our competitiveness not only in high-efficiency clean coal power plants but also in the areas of cogeneration

and combined-cycle generation.

Amid rapid changes in the world around us, KEPCO E&C is predicting and preparing for the future. With its profound understanding of various energy sources and its creative advantage in the energy technology of the future, The company is building its prestige both in new energy business areas and in problem solving in the energy sector.

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions has become a global duty and a challenge. Korea has to reduce its emissions by 37% of BAU projections by 2030. That’s why we have to cope with changes by being more proactive about designing power plants. We at KEPCO E&C will never stop maximizing our capacity and unlocking our potential. 

We’re working on brand-new design technology as we position ourselves to become a leader of the global energy industry.

I think that small changes starting with the staff coalesced into a culture, and that this culture evolved to enable KEPCO E&C to grow. Toward this end, various training programs and activities are taking place to enable all our staff to feel pride in their work. The staff at KEPCO E&C are delighted and energized by taking on a new challenge.

KEPCO E&C has a dream: using sustainable energy technology to make a promising future. Going forward, we’ll continue to come up with energy technologies that will bring humans and the environment into harmony.

Looking back, everything started from a single point. That single point was our commitment, conviction, and our mission for humanity. 

The points came together to make a line, and the lines to a plane. The plane stands for our long-standing quest for technology. Our quest continues for energy technology that will make the world a better place to live in.
