Reason(s) for the Sole Sourcing |
The requirements to perform this consulting service are as follows: - Proven experience of analysis capability by the benchmarking the CCI-3 and the CCI-6 MCCI experiments for the siliceous concrete which is used in Kori 3,4 and Hanbit 3,4. - PSA and the severe accident uncertainty analysis consulting experience using MAAP program for the Korean conventional large-scale reactor models (i.e., APR1400, OPR1000 or APR1000). Fauske & Associates, LLC (FAI) has a strong understanding of the severe accident phenomena through the in-house experiments and knowledge of experiments performed elsewhere. Especially, FAI developed the debris coolability model such as a bulk cooling, a water ingression and a melt eruption in the MAAP5 program by benchmarking the CCI-2, CCI-3 and CCI-6 experiments sponsored by the OECD/NEA MCCI program. Also, FAI has an experience in the PSA and the severe accident uncertainty analysis of the APR1400 (e.g. BNPP, SKN5&6 etc.) and the APR1000 (EUR). Fauske & Associates, LLC is the only company that meets the above requirements. * Comments via this webpage (use "Writing comment" section below) shall only be deemed as official comments. |
