Seismic Isolation (SI) systems for the Emergency Response Base Building in nuclear power plants (NPPs) were applied to and are being operated exclusively in Japanese NPPs. JSSI (Japan Society of Seismic Isolation) is the sole institution for qualification/education/consultation/authorization of Japanese SI system. Therefore, JSSI is the only entity which can provide the consulting service in regards with the technology to develop and apply SI system for Emergency Response Base Buildings of Korean NPPs. |
