KEPCO E&C held a collaborative meeting with Czech engineering company TES at the head office in Gimcheon on November 3.

The meeting was participated in by around 20 officials from the 2 companies, including nuclear reactor construction department director Chung Gi-Hoon and TES’s technical director Martin Blaha.

As a nuclear engineering company established in 1992, TES provides safety analysis and test operation support for the Czech and Slovak nuclear power plants. In June, TES signed the “MOU for Cooperation in New Nuclear Power Plant Business in the Czech Republic” with KEPCO E&C.

At this meeting, the two companies confirmed their intention to collaborate on not only the new nuclear power plant business in the Czech Republic but also other nuclear power plant-related businesses based on ▲KEPCO E&C’s business areas and ▲history of collaboration with TES.

Going forward, KEPCO E&C will further strengthen partnerships with overseas companies to establish a global engineering network for overseas business expansion.
