- KEPCO E&C leads the building of a healthy organization culture

through creativity and innovation -

 

 

KEPCO E&C held on April 5 a launching ceremony for "The Saerom," a leading group of creativity and innovation established to build a healthy organizational culture.

 

"The Saerom" consists of 50 employees who have been with the KEPCO E&C for less than 10 years and another 50 who have served for 10 years or more. The group was organized to supplement the executive directors' meeting or the board of directors meeting and suggest opinions regarding the KEPCO E&C 's major policy decisions.

 

"The Saerom" literally means "consistently make more and more creative and innovative ideas."

 

President & CEO Koo-woun Park and 100 members of the group attended the launching ceremony. Professor Yoon Eun-key, former director of the National HRD Institute, offered a special lecture to the attendees concerning the role and mission of the leading group of creativity and innovation.

 

President Park asked the members of the group to put forth freely and openly any and all ideas that will help contribute to the development of the KEPCO E&C or any and all questions they may have concerning management issues.

 

"KEPCO E&C, which recently relocated to Gimcheon Innovation City, should play a leading role as the centeral company of creativity and innovation in growing and developing Gimcheon as a world-class city beyond the regional boundaries,” he stressed.

 

KEPCO E&C plans to promote the achievement of its vision and try to find a solution to the current management issues through mutual communication between the group members and management.
