Overview of CP (Compliance Program)

Although fair trade-related laws and regulations including the Fair Trade Act and the Subcontracting Act govern different subjects and acts, they ultimately promote fair and free market competition for all companies in a country, facilitate transparent and creative business activities, and protect consumers. The Fair Trade Commission’s program, introduced in Korea in 2001, is an internal compliance system such as education and supervision, established and operated by companies voluntarily to comply with fair trade-related laws and regulations. It is a series of standards and systems for companies to establish measures to prevent and improve their employees’ violations of fair trade laws and regulations by presenting the action code for compliance.
