Business Agreement with Korea Environment Corporation

KEPCO E&C signed the business agreement for mutually beneficial development for the future-oriented environment and energy with Korea Environment Corporation on November 22.

Byeon Hwa-Woon, Executive Senior Vice President of KEPCO E&C and Jung Tae-Hwan, of HQ of Environment Facilities of K-eco included officials of two companies participated in ceremony.

KEPCO E&C and K-eco agreed to build a long-term cooperation based on their expertise, to keep with the recent trend in the global energy sector which has been rapidly changing toward eco-friendly and renewable energy.

In particular, the two companies plan to set up new and renewable energy, Waste to Energy power generation projects, environmental basic facilities for improving the environment, and installation projects for energy facilities as major areas of cooperation, continue to cooperate in establishing business information exchanges and promotion strategies, and ways to develop environmental technologies to successfully develop and carry out cooperation projects at home and abroad.

KEPCO E&C will explore high value-added projects that combine energy and environment, including eco-friendly power generation utilizing domestic and foreign waste by the signing of the MOU. 

And adding to KEPCO E&C's rich experience in designing the energy sector, its technological prowess, and the Korea Environment Corporation's experience and expertise in environment-friendly development, the two companies will step up efforts to improve the global environment and strengthen resource efficiency in addition to win-win development.
