On March 30, KEPCO E&C signed an MOU with Koramco Asset Management Co., Ltd for strategic cooperation on new and renewable energy power generation in Korea and other countries.

The signing event was attended by executives from both companies including Lee Bae-soo, CEO of KEPCO E&C, and Cheon Eung-cheol, CEO of KORAMCO Asset Management.

The main purpose of the MOU is to combine KEPCO E&C’s engineering and construction capability with KORAMCO’s financing capability in a bid to explore new business horizons by cooperating on the development of new and renewable energy in Korea and Southeast Asia.

Both companies expect that the signing of the MOU will lead to the creation of significant synergy through information exchange and technological cooperation from the development stage of new and renewable energy power generation projects.

Lee Bae-soo met with the chairman of KORAMCO Asset Management separately after signing the MOU and asked for close long-term cooperation between the two companies and the pursuit of tangible outcomes through business development.
