KEPCO E&C held the “2017 First-half Technical Education Program on Design for KEPCO E&C partners” at the Startup campus in Pangyo Technovalley from April 12 to 14.

This education program, in which more than 140 employees from the 38 partners participated, consists of 42 courses in 11 areas of technical education, including nuclear energy, mechanics, piping, electricity, measurement, civil engineering, and architecture, as well as education on integrity and ethics.

KEPCO E&C experts in various fields participated in the program as instructors with the goal of improving the engineering capability and design quality of KEPCO E&C’s partners.

CEO Park said, “We are constantly trying to establish an education program that contributes to improving the technical skills of our partners as well as reinforcing the competencies of KEPCO E&C. We will provide every possible kind of support to ensure that KEPCO E&C’s engineering capability and experience take Korea’s industrial competency to the next level.”

KEPCO E&C is playing the leading role in cultivating engineering personnel not only by providing engineering education for its partners, but also by running the Power Engineering School (PES), which attracts undergraduates majoring in science and engineering from all over the country, and establishing a job training course in Gimcheon University.
