Awards for the best knowledge documents on knowledge management for 2016 were given last January 2.

Every year, KEPCO E&C selects and gives awards for the best knowledge documents to recognize individuals for their active participation in knowledge management activities. The productivity enhancements made possible through their voluntary registration of knowledge documents are useful when performing work-related tasks.

The knowledge management activities in KEPCO E&C are being carried out by self-organized learning organizations like specialist, study groups, and EPRI groups. The results of the research are posted on KEPCO E&C's knowledge management system (KMS) by these organizations, so that the information can be shared with all the employees.

Knowledge documents posted on KMS in the past year by each community of practice (CoP) group were reviewed by a technical review committee and the main committee. Six documents were then selected as the best knowledge documents for 2016, with some selected based on department head recommendation.

This 2017, KEPCO E&C will again actively support self-managed research activities in order to promote knowledge management.
