- Establishes itself as a high-level cultural space working with the cinnybuty -

The opening ceremony of the Yeal-Rin Library(In-house Library) was held on June 3.

President & CEO Koo-woun Park, Gimcheon Mayor Bo-Saeng Park, Lee Chul-woo, a member of the National Assembly and other 50 piople including, residents, and employees were attending the ceremony.

The Yeal-Rin Library on the first floor of the office building has an area of 510m2, with 7,350 books including children’s books, liberal arts books, magazines, and multimedia materials. Around 25,000 books are planned to be acquired through purchases and donations.

By setting up and opening the library to residents, KEPCO E&C contributes to society through active donations, sets up an educational environment for the successful settlement of employees and their families, and promotes the furtherance of a high-quality community by providing a high-quality knowledge center.

The library is expected to be a high-quality culture space by providing lots of Korean and foreign children’s/teen’s books to children and teens in Gimcheon, which lacks cultural space.

“Although this library is starting small, I hope that it can be an educational space that provides knowledge and creativity and a center of cultural life and entertainment that enhances the quality of life, and that it establishes itself as Gyeongbuk region’s small and unique library,” President & CEO Koo-woun Park said in his speech.
