KEPCO E&C attended the "International Energy-saving EXPO &Conference 2011" that was held at KINTEX in Ilsan for three days from February 16 to February 18, 2011 and operated the promotional booth for its ESCO (Energy Service Company) business. 

International Energy-saving EXPO &Conference is an internal energy saving expo and conference for introducing the latest technical information, equipment and systems, and products and services so that visitors can see the "energy saving industry" for themselves. This year's event had 240 companies from across the world participating in it.

The companies that participated in the, 'energy saving service & consulting' section introduced the ESCO business and promoted their environmentally friendly technology and business performance. Though the various ESCO projects over the past 10 years like the Bundang Combined Heat Recovery ESCO project and the Ilsan Combined HRSG ESCO project 97,451 tons of energy was saved and 227,615 tons of carbon dioxide was reduced.

At the expo, KEPCO E&C’s ESCO partners Kowa  and Sookook  shared a booth together. Kowa develops a high efficiency heat pump and Sookook installs heat recovery boilers and heat exchangers. KEPCO E&C expects a long-term partnership with them and supported the expenses of their participation in accordance with the company’s mutual growth policy with small business vendors.

As a side event of the expo, the '2011 Energy Saving World Forum' was held in order to introduce the latest energy saving cases and system development know-how.
