Considering the EIA study work scope and procedure it is mandatory to collect and analyze various site conditions in the Subic area such as topographic, water resources, marine condition, air quality and so on. Also in order to perform the socio module the contractor should contact with the people in the Barangay as well as local government entities including health offices, so familiarization with the candidate area and people is necessary. In addition, proper equipment and tools with experienced experts necessary for implementing field survey and modeling should be basic requirement to perform the EIA study. East Manila Georesearch Inc. is deemed to have aforesaid capability and experience since it has acquired the Environmental Compliance Certificates (ECCs) for a power plant project which has been built in adjacent area, therefore KEPCO E&C is to contract with East Manila Georesearch Inc. |
