KEPCO E&C’s Chamsarang Voluntary Corps visited Gimcheon General Hospital on August 11 and conducted industry-linked voluntary services.

This volunteer activity was carried out as a precautionary measure to prevent medical accidents due to power interruption at a medical institute in case of an emergency.

The Chamsarang Voluntary Corps conducted noise and vibration diagnosis of emergency generators at Gimcheon Jeil Hospital and Gimcheon Medical Center and agreed on future schedules for maintenance support through an interview with the facility manager.

This volunteer service is expected to contribute to the stable supply of power and spread of a safety culture in an emergency at an important time when the local community medical system is emphasized due to the prolonged and re-spreading COVID-19.

KEPCO E&C plans to continue its activities to improve industry-linked social value enhancement and spread of safety culture in the local community using its energy technology.
