- Promotion of future-oriented communication between KEPCO E&C and vendors and fulfillment of social values -


 


KEPCO E&C held “2019 CEO Academy for Collaborative Cooperation” at Post Tower in Seoul on May 24.

The purpose of the event hosted jointly by KEPCO E&C and the Large Enterprise/SME/Agriculture Cooperation Foundation (Cooperation Foundation) and attended by more than 100 employees from vendors was to promote the future-oriented communication between the top management of KEPCO E&C and CEOs of vendors and fulfill social values such as collaborative cooperation, eradication of heavy-handed practice, and human rights management.

The ceremony included △ the awarding of excellent vendors, △ a special lecture on anti-corruption, integrity, and eradication of heavy-handed practice, △ the explanation of the vendor operation system and measures to strengthen cooperation, △ the direction for the vendor security policy, and △ the direction for quality and safety policy specific to each vendor.

KEPCO E&C operates a partnership system for mutual growth and collaborative cooperation with SMEs. The company selects and awards excellent vendors through regular vendor evaluation to enhance pride and improve design quality.

Three companies including Young In Engineering (Quality Grand Award), Wonwoo Engineering (Best Award) and Woosung Space Architects (Excellence Prize) were selected as outstanding partners by the regular evaluation of business performance in 2018. They received the plaque and prize.

“KEPCO is committed to the transformation into a new business in the energy conversion era and to the development of the innovation growth and future businesses to grow into a global company. I hope that we can grow with our partner companies through the cooperation based on continuous mutual trust and respect,” Lee Bae-soo, CEO of KEPCO E&C said.

“I appreciate KEPCO E&C’s efforts to establish the ecosystem for mutual growth and collaborative cooperation by holding the Collaborative Cooperation Academy each year. The Cooperation Foundation plans to upgrade the support activities for collaborative cooperation,” Kim Gwang-gon, Head of Collaborative Cooperation Division of the Cooperation Foundation said.

KEPCO E&C plans to do its best for mutual growth with its vendors by increasing collaborative cooperation and enhancing joint technical competitiveness.
