KEPCO E&C is currently conducting technology development project concerning nonlinear seismic analysis of the nuclear power plant under earthquake condition exceeding current design basis. KEPCO E&C’s development task requires utilizing typical technology and framework to integrate the nonlinear soil domain and structure models by interactive analysis using responses of nodes on interfaces. Prof. Oh-Sung Kwon has developed the integration technology and framework which are required for KEPCO E&C’s task. The special integration technology and framework are not commercialized and only Prof. Oh- Sung Kwon has the authority for use. Also, he has knowledge and plenty of experiences in nonlinear structural analyses and time domain Soil-Structure- Interaction analyses of nuclear power plant structures. Therefore, Prof. Oh-Sung Kwon is the only person who can provide the consulting services. |
