Content

Task 1: Improvement of MCCI occurring in the Sacrificial Material Layer containing a Sacrificial Steel Layer

 - The parameters assigned to define the thickness of each layer should be provided to allow a user to change it flexibly.


 - The parameters for defining the composition of sacrificial steel should be provided to allow a user to change them flexibly


Task 2: Improvement of radiant heat transfer model in the reactor cavity

 - General deion on the radiant heat transfer model should be provided with the information of the theory relating with radiation and determination of geometrical view factor

 - The parameters used to define the structure information should be provided to allow a user to calculate the temperatures on the surface of vertical and/or horizontal walls


Task 3: Assessment on the composition characteristics of corium pool


 - The universal validity of the homogeneous corium pool model used in MAAP5 should be assessed and provided, and/or

 - The comparison results of the corium pool composition performed by MAAP with those by GEMINI/NUCLEA code.


Task 4: Analysis and documentation of new models and results

 - Provide the results of MAAP5 improved MCCI model.

 - Provide the results of MAAP5 radiant heat transfer model

 - Provide the results of assessment on universal validity of MAAP5 corium pool
