 KEPCO E&C participated in the 2022 Busan International Nuclear Expo held at BEXCO in Busan from April 27 to 29.

As the largest nuclear industry exhibition in Korea, the Busan International Nuclear Expo is hosted by the Korea Atomic Industrial Forum and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT and Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy.

This year, more than 110 domestic and foreign companies, including Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, Doosan Enerbility, and Westinghouse, exhibited their materials and equipment, facilities, technologies, and products related to nuclear power plant construction and operation. They also introduced technologies related to nuclear power plant decommissioning and treatment/storage/transport of radioactive waste.

KEPCO E&C set up a booth to showcase the following: ▲APR1000, a medium-sized nuclear power plant; ▲floating SMR (BANDI); ▲nuclear power plant decommissioning; and ▲spent nuclear fuel storage container (OASIS CASK). More than 1,000 people, including government and industry officials and students, visited the booth.

KEPCO E&C plans to continue actively participating in domestic and foreign nuclear energy exhibitions to promote new technology commercialization and strengthen its status as a global nuclear engineering company.
