KEPCO E&C held its annual opening ceremony for 2022 at its head office in Gimcheon on January 3.

In his New Year's message, KEPCO E&C CEO Kim Sung-arm praised the employees who have done their best to secure a foundation for a stable growth base with unshakable resolve and level-headed mindset even in the severe business environment in 2021, and encouraged them to take on challenges of the future under the mission to “envision sharply and advance persistently” in the new year.

He highlighted “pursuing digital transformation,” “establishing the ethical management system,” and “stably expanding our business domain” as the main focus of KEPCO E&C in 2022, and encouraged the employees to transform the company into an organization full of pride and a sense of duty.

Accordingly, CEO Kim reminded employees that the transformation to digital engineering is a business process innovation for long-term survival and future growth, and that the company should take a big step for digital transformation in 2022. He announced the plan to establish the ethical management system centered on divisions to proactively respond to internal and external changes. Moreover, he urged KEPCO E&C to establish unrivaled ESG management that harmonizes high value-added financial performance creation with environmental and social responsibility and ethical management compliance.

The annual opening ceremony was held in parallel with the OnTact system to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and video messages containing employees' wishes for the new year were also introduced.
