KEPCO E&C President Kim Sung-arm visited the UAE with the CEO members of Team Korea (KEPCO, KEPCO E&C, KNF, KPS, and KDN) from September 6 to 8 and attended the meeting of the CEOs of the UAE nuclear power plant project owners.

The President's Meeting was held to share the achievements of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant and solidify the partnership between the management of the two countries through joint interviews with the top management of Team UAE (ENEC, Nawah, and BOC).

KEPCO E&C President Kim Sung-arm and Head of Nuclear Reactor Design and Development Division(NSSS Division) Ha Jae-hong attended the meeting and discussed the electricity output recovery plan of BNPP Unit 1 and technical issues of BNPP Units 2, 3, and 4.

On September 7, the CEO members of Team Korea visited the construction site of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant and inspected the major facilities and construction status. They lauded the employees on the site for their hard work and asked them to do their best until the day the last Unit 4 operates successfully.

Moreover, Kim Sung-arm visited Nawah President Ali Al Hammadi and promised full support for the successful operation of BNPP Units 2, 3, and 4 as well as reaffirmed the commitment to expand the LTEA business as part of KEPCO E&C’s business diversification.

The two also companies suggested the establishment of a high-level consultative body and agreed to discuss ways to build trust and promote long-term cooperation through regular meetings.
