KEPCO E&C was selected for the Corporate Social Responsibility in the Community in 2020.

The Corporate Social Responsibility in the Community is a program jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and Korea National Council on Social Welfare in cooperation with non-profit organizations to certify companies or public institutions that have carried out social contribution programs for one year or longer in accordance with the Recognition Scheme for Community Contribution that went into effect on July 25, 2020.

KEPCO E&C was recognized for taking the lead in the corporate social responsibility (CSR) by contributing to community development and social value dispersion through job creation by promoting youth startups, donating education for the socially vulnerable people, and power equipment replacement projects that reflect the nature of work.

“The importance of social contribution by public institutions for realizing social values has been growing. This achievement is the result of KEPCO E&C’s efforts to solve community problems and create jobs, and we plan to continue to expand social contribution activities in various fields,” KEPCO E&C CEO Lee Bae-soo said.
