KEPCO E&C on September 9th signed the MOU with Libridge for cooperation in material supply and EPC projects ordered from Russia.

Attending the signing ceremony included Jin Tae-eun, the head of the Nuclear Division of KEPCO E&C, and Lee Young-ho, CEO of Libridge.

The objective of the MOU is to gather information on the latest trend of material supply related with EPC projects and develop new business in Russia.

Libridge has completed a number of consulting services about Russian nuclear power plants for the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy and the Korea Nuclear Association for International Cooperation and recently supported Korean enterprises to receive material supply packages ordered from Russia.

KEPCO E&C expects Libridge’s expertise in obtaining pre-bidding project information through local networking can be significantly helpful in collaborative cooperation with SMEs in Korea.

“The Russian nuclear power plant market is unique in that it is significantly influenced by human networking for business cooperation. Libridge, which has a good understanding of local business characteristics and has established a human network and bargaining power, will play a significant role for KEPCO E&C’s developing new business in Russia,” Jin Tae-eun, the head of the Nuclear Division of KEPCO E&C, said.
