- Cooperation in technology interchange and business development to lead the hydrogen economy -




KEPCO E&C signed the agreement for cooperation in technology interchange and business development to lead the hydrogen economy with KOGAS-Tech on April 10. Attending the signing ceremony held at KEPCO’s head office in Gimcheon included KEPCO E&C CEO Lee Bae-su, KOGAS-Tech CEO Goh Young-tae, and officials from both companies.

The purpose of the agreement is for both companies to utilize their expertise to interchange technologies and jointly develop business in the hydrogen economy.

The agreement stipulates the cooperation in domestic production, storage/transport, utilization, and generation of hydrogen energy and the cooperation in overseas hydrogen energy generation business, including business information, data exchange, technology interchange, business development, human resource interchange, and education/training support.

The two companies recognized that technology played a more important role than resources in the era of energy transformation and agreed to form the Energy Technology Council to play a role of leading the technology as the public enterprises for energy technology.
