- Various integrity programs with 19 public and civic organizations in the local community -

 


KEPCO E&C held the Gyeongbuk Gimcheon Integrity Cluster Culture Festival at Gimcheon Jikji Cultural Park in Gimcheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do on July 12 ~ 13.

The Gyeongbuk Gimcheon Integrity Cluster Culture Festival was organized by the Gyeongbuk Gimcheon Integrity Cluster Council (chaired by Lee Dong-geun, Standing Auditor of KEPCO E&C) consisting of public institutions in Gimcheon and local municipalities and civic organizations in Gyeongsangbuk-do and sponsored by the Anti-corruption and Civil Rights Commission.

Participated in by 19 public and civic organizations including KEPCO E&C in the
Gyeongsangbuk-do region, the Festival featured various programs with local residents reflecting the characteristics of the participating public institutions.

Each organization offered its own program such as △ Training of local clean government employee and Integrity Retriever Dart game (KEPCO E&C), △ Integrity safety campaign (Korea Transportation Safety Authority), △ Integrity OX Quiz (Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency), △Free counseling on the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act and other laws (Korea Legal Aid Corporation), and △ Integrity Education (Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education).

Some programs were carried out in other regions of Gyeongsangbuk-do, including Gumi, Pohang, and Andong. “The Gyeongbuk Gimcheon Integrity Cluster established on May 17 this year aims to broaden the integrity cluster to cover all municipalities and civic organizations in the Gyeongsangbuk-do region as well as Gimcheon Innovation City. We will make efforts to spread the grassroots anti-corruption integrity culture through events wherein the communities and citizens of Gyeongsangbuk-do participate together,” said Lee Dong-geun, Chairman of the Gyeongbuk Gimcheon Integrity Cluster Council.
