KEPCO E&C has been carrying out a project to revise fatigue monitoring system for Shin-Kori Nuclear Power Plant Units 3 & 4 which is based on FatiguePro TM , a fatigue monitoring software package. Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SIA) has developed FatiguePro and over a period of twenty years accumulated vast experiences in its applications for use in various types of nuclear power plant. SIA has recently developed Version 4 of FatiguePro with enhanced functions and capabilities, including the environmental fatigue. FatiguePro facilitates plant life extension/license activities by providing an immediate, up-to-date and continual assessment of transient counts, fatigue usage and other monitoring criteria in critical vessels and piping in nuclear power plants. |
