KEPCO E&C held the Integrity and Human Rights Plus Cultural Festival from September 21 to September 25.

The festival was organized to raise awareness of integrity, human rights, and the need to eradicate abuses of power, and to create a corporate culture for a transparent working environment. It included such events as an integrity sticker/photo zone designed to promote the practice of integrity in daily life, and an integrity and ethics campaign for clean and transparent Chuseok holidays.

In particular, given the current difficulties regarding face-to-face activities, it ran the SNS Integrity Quiz and an online integrity exhibition for employees and the public to build an integrity ecosystem.

On September 15, KEPCO E&C signed an Agreement for Human Rights Management with KEPCO E&C Service to spread the human rights management culture and protect the human rights of workers. KEPCO E&C presented signboards for the Ethics Charter and the Human Rights Charter, which included KECP E&C Service’s commitment to ethics, human rights, and the construction of a human rights ecosystem.

Furthermore, it held a “book concert” by inviting Dr. Kim Mi-gyeong, the director of the Gimcheon Medical Center, who wrote In the Field of Battle against COVID-19.

“Although COVID-19 has made it difficult to meet everyone face-to-face, I would ask you to strive to create a transparent working environment to make KEPCO E&C a role model for integrity among public institutions,” said KEPCO CEO Lee Bae-su.
