MOU for Infrastructure Management

KEPCO E&C signed the MOU for joint business development and technical cooperation related to maintenance and asset management of infrastructure with the Construction Economy Research Institute of Korea (CERIK), ESCO Consultant & Engineers, and Safetia.

The singing ceremony was held in Construction Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Byeon Hwa-woon, the Executive Vice President of KEPCO E&C, Lee Sang-ho, the President of CERIK, Kim Seung-ryeol, the CEO of ESCO Consultant & Engineers, Seo Jae-min, the CEO of Safetia, and other officials from the four signing companies participated in the ceremony.

KEPCO E&C has the know-how for project management of large construction projects and engineering of power generation facility management and maintenance.

CERIK has the experience in policymaking for infrastructure management while ESCO Consultant & Engineers has the references for the development and commercialization of the integrated asset management system for underground structures.

Safetia has the capability for the development and consulting of the intelligent management system.

According to the MOU, the four companies plan to cooperate in the area of information and data related to the infrastructure maintenance and the development of asset management system.

By signing the MOU, KEPCO E&C has laid the foundation for entering the facility maintenance market following the enactment of the Infrastructure Management Act and plans to play its leading role for the construction of comprehensive management systems and execution of the critical infrastructure on the early market formation stage.
