The Gyeongbuk Gimcheon Integrity Plus Cultural Festival kicked off with the opening ceremony and Integrity Jazz Concert on July 15.

The Cultural Festival is hosted by the Gyeongbuk Gimcheon Cluster -- which is composed of 22 organizations including public enterprises that relocated to Gyeongbuk Gimcheon Innovation City, local governments, and civic groups -- and sponsored by the Anti-Corruption & Civil Rights Commission.

Held from July 15 to 19, the festival included programs that reflected the characteristics of public enterprises located in Gimcheon Innovation City, such as Integrity Academy Tour by KEPCO E&C, Integrity Spike by Korea Expressway Corporation, Free Legal Counseling by Korea Legal Aid Corporation and Korea Rehabilitation Agency, and Domestic and Foreign Seed Exhibition by the Korea Seed & Variety Service.

Four public enterprises (Jeollanamdo Office of Education, Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education, Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, and Korea Institute of Planning and Evaluation for Technology in Food, Agriculture, and Forestry) of the Jeonnam Naju Integrity Cluster have collaborated by exhibiting prize-winning works of the Integrity Contest with the theme “The tide of integrity flows from right to left into one.”

Other programs participated in by the residents included the Integrity Concert, Training of Officials of Integrity, Children’s Fine Art Contest, Integrity OX Quiz, Integrity Golden Bell, Integrity Anti-Corruption and Integrity Short Poem Contest, Exhibition of Traffic Safety Goods, and Integrity Blood Donation.

“We hope that the Integrity Plus Cultural Festival becomes an event that highlights the integrity culture in unison with local communities. KEPCO E&C intends to lead private-public joint efforts for anti-corruption and integrity ethics through the Gyeongbuk Gimcheon Integrity Cluster,” said auditor Jeong Il-sun of KEPCO E&C, which hosted the Cultural Festival.
