Selected as “Outstanding Institution” in the integrity assessment of public institutions

- Recognized as the outstanding public institution in integrity and ethics following the selection as the outstanding institution in anti-corruption policy assessment -
KEPCO E&C was selected as the “Outstanding Company (Grade 2)” in “2018 Integrity assessment of public institutions” sponsored by the Anti-Corruption & Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) on December 5.
The ACRC assess and announce the integrity level of public institutions each year. It assessed 612 institutions and classified them from Grade 1 to 5 this year.
After being selected as the outstanding agency in anti-corruption policy by the ACRC in the first half, KEPCO E&C was again selected as the outstanding institution (Grade 2), which was the highest grade for the assessment category, and laid the milestone to leap forward as an outstanding public institution of integrity and ethics. It is the highest grade KEPCO E&C has received in the ACRC assessment.
Categorized as the public interest group II, KEPCO E&C has continued the upward trend in the integrity assessment for the past three years and achieved the overall integrity rating of Grade 2 after receiving Grade 2 in external integrity and Grade 2 in policy customer evaluation.
The institutions in the same category received the ratings from Grade 2 and Grade 5, and there was no institution that received Grad 1.
KEPCO E&C based in Gimcheon Innovation City in Gyeongbuk Province is actively carrying out the anti-corruption and integrity ethics programs with the local community.
It is enhancing its execution ability by cooperating with other public institutions and private companies for integrity and ethics activities and benchmarking best practices.
“KEPCO E&C’s selection as the outstanding institution in integrity despite the difficult business conditions is the results of strong leadership shown by all employees for anti-corruption and integrity ethical practice.
