Appointment Ceremony of New Employees in the First Half of 2018

The appointment ceremony of new employees in the first half of 2018 was held at the Main Training Room of the KEPCO E&C headquarters on October 1.

A total of 36 employees who joined the company as interns in June 2018 and completed the three-month training program received their certificates of appointment. Executives and department heads including Business Management Division Head Eom Ho-seop and Ha Jin-su, chairman of the labor union, attended the ceremony to celebrate with the new employees who are starting their first career.

In his speech, Business Management Division Head Eom Ho-seop congratulated the employees who successfully completed the three-month training and became new members of the company, encouraging them to continue to develop their competence to broaden their vision into the future.

The new employees also made an integrity pledge to become good examples in establishing a fair society as employees of KEPCO E&C.

Starting with the recruitment announcement in February, KEPCO E&C conducted application screening, written test, first interview, and second interview according to the government's joint recruitment schedule. Similar to last year, the company implemented the employment quota system to encourage the participation of local talents (Daegu Metropolitan City and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province) and women. It also increased the number of external interviewers in an effort to strengthen the fairness and transparency of the recruitment process.

KEPCO E&C will continue to expand new recruitments to create jobs and fulfill its social responsibility as a public enterprise as well as reinforce its fair and transparent hiring process.
