Acquisition of ISO integrated quality, environment, and safety & health management system transfer certifications
KEPCO E&C has succeeded in acquiring transfer certification for its management system integrating international-standard quality (ISO 9001-2015 edition), environment (ISO 14001-2015 edition), and safety and health (ISO 45001-2018 edition).
KEPCO E&C introduced the quality management system in 1996, the environmental management system in 2006, and the safety and health management system in 2010 for the first time. Since then, it has renewed its certifications through the renewal examination every three years and maintained them through annual follow-up examination.
KEPCO E&C underwent document review (1st stage) and site audit (2nd stage) last June 25 ~ 28, 2018 by the Korea Standards Association for the renewal of certifications and shift to the completely revised standard.
As a result of the active cooperation of all employees, it was confirmed that the new integrated management system of KEPCO E&C complied with the requirements of the latest integrated management system, and that the company implemented it effectively.
The transfer certification enables KEPCO E&C to improve its internal and external credibility through its enhanced management system integrating quality, environment, and safety and health.
