Mutual Growth Academy

The Mutual Growth Academy was held as part of a general meeting of the KEPCO E&C Vendor Council at the Seoul Kuro Hotel on April 13.

The event, jointly held by KEPCO E&C and the Large/Small Enterprise and Agricultural and Fishery Cooperation Foundation, was attended by around eighty representatives from the member companies of the KEPCO E& Vendor Council.

The Council was launched in April 2017 with the objective of exchanging technical information and promoting joint technology development with small vendor companies in accordance with the Act on the Promotion of Collaborative Cooperation between Large Enterprises and Small-Medium Enterprises. It was greatly expanded from the initial ten member companies in 2017 to thirty-three in 2018.

Held to increase collaboration with vendors and enhance joint competitiveness, the event consisted of a special lecture on collaborative cooperation delivered by KEPCO E&C President Lee Bae-su; the introduction of KEP E&C Vendor Council; cases and laws on fair trade with the focus on commissioning and consignment, and quality and industrial safety seminar.

"Technology cooperation with our partners will be more important than ever for KEPCO E&C if it is to become a leading firm in the field of energy conversion,” declared Lee Bae-su. “Let’s work together to strengthen our joint competitiveness through this partnership.

KEPCO E&C plans to continue pursuing substantive mutual growth and promoting collaborative cooperative activities that will benefit small vendors.
