Since 2011, KEPCO E&C has held the annual PES camp for university students majoring in science or engineering nationwide during summer and winter vacations with the aim of training future leaders.

The program has attracted a great deal of attention from students, and 730 university students have completed the PES program since the inception in 2011.

This year, Fifty-four sophomore and junior university students majoring in science or engineering with a recommendation from 32 universitys nationwide participated in PES winter camp.

KEPCO E&C ran various programs to help the participants to strengthen their abilities and explore their career path.

The participants received basic training in the fundamentals of engineering, attended special lectures in the humanities, participated in group presentations, and went on field trips during the 4-night, 5-day camp.

KEPCO E&C held the completion ceremony on January 19 and grant scholarships to those students who have demonstrated outstanding results in the training.

KEPCO E&C plans to continue the PES camp program to fulfill the social responsibility as a public institution and train next-generation scientists and engineers.

KEPCO E&C will also listen to the opinions of the participants and reflect them in its efforts to further improve the program.
