On September 27, KEPCO E&C hosted a mutual growth academy for its small and medium partner companies in a joint effort with the Corporate Partnership Foundation , KEPCO KPS, KEPCO KDN and KEPCO NF.

The event, which was held in the EL Tower in Yangjae-dong, Seoul with about 90 employees from 35 partner companies in attendance, is a follow up to the mutual cooperation agreement signed for the mutual growth of KEPCO Group companies in October 2016. It was organized so as to provide small and medium partner companies with various professional training programs by using the mutual growth academy project of the Corporate Partnership Foundation.

Previously, KEPCO E&C signed an agreement with KEPCO KPS, KEPCO KDN, and KEPCO NF to pioneer new markets, human resources, technology development, and strengthen market competitiveness for mutual growth.

The academy began with lectures on △mutual growth and survival, and continued with lectures on △mutual growth systems and support projects; △the mutual growth status of KEPCO Group companies; △consigned fair trading cases and laws; and △technology protection and security training for small and medium enterprises.

KEPCO E&C’s acting CEO Jo Jik-Lae said, “Under this new mutual growth model, where the diversity and potential of small and medium enterprises are combined with the capital and advanced technology of major power companies, we are smoothly responding to the national policy of energy transition,” emphasizing the importance of mutual growth activities based on the reinforcement of mutual capabilities.

Lee Jeong-Hwa, the head of the management collaboration center at the Corporate Partnership Foundation, said, “As KEPCO Group companies are leading the effort to create mutual growth synergy, the academy is very significant. As such, we hope that you continue to make practical and effective efforts to mutual growth.”

Henceforth, KEPCO E&C will cooperate closely with regional communities and other organizations to improve the effects of mutual growth and the survival campaign.
