Hosting of a Special Lecture for Innovation of Organizational Culture in a Time of Change

On July 12, KEPCO E&C invited Director Lee Byung-hoon of the Asia and Economy Research Institute and hosted “「A Time of Change」 - A Special Lecture on the Innovation and Reform of Organizational Culture.”
The event was organized in answer to President Park Koo-woun’s July message regarding business management, to develop the ability to overcome crises and creatively meet the tasks at hand.
Director Lee Byung-hoon spoke on the topic of “Modern Art & Technology,” stressing the necessity of communication amidst the current spread of emotional management and the economization of culture.
He especially emphasized the need to be a “First Mover” rather than a “Fast Follower”, which entails showing an anticipative response to the future, and presented the business implications this holds for our company in its capacity as a technology firm.
As the lecture said, it is a good company but not a big one that survives.
KEPCO E&C will continue to strive actively to foster the creativity of its employees and establish a progressive organizational culture.
