2nd Creative Innovation Leader Group “Deosaerom”

KEPCO E&C held the launch ceremony for “Deosaerom”, its 2nd creative innovation leader group, on March 7.

President & CEO Park Koo-woun and eighty executives and employees including the 2nd “Deosaerom” employees participated in the event. Originally launched in April 2016, the name “Deosaerom” literally means “to consistently come up with ever more creative and innovative ideas”.

KEPCO E&C has been striving to share ideas and communicate on pending issues through frank conversation sessions with the CEO, the Deosaerom Academy, visit of board meetings, and communciation with the board of executives, with the aim of establishing a corporate culture characterized by creativity and innovation.

The 2nd “Deosaerom” was composed of 70 employees who showed outstanding proactiveness, loyalty to the company, and communication skills in their job.

The 2nd “Deosaerom” plans to continue peforming its role through such programs as the communication leadership workshop, celebrity guest lectures, and 3GO programs in a bid to strengthen company-wide communications, including “Hamkkehago” (community service), “Dalligo” (culture activities), and “Yiyagihago” (communication activities).

Taking a step forward from the first “Deosaerom”, the 2nd group plans to improve its internal organization and operation by developing and operating specialized programs in various fields, along with a reward system and a differentiated incentive program including the provision of educational opportunities in Korea and overseas.
 
CEO Park, in his words of encouragement, commented, “We hope that the members of Deosaerom will develop into responsible leaders of KEPCO E&C”, adding, “The discovery of future personnel for the company and the cultivation of core human resources are the most important factors in advancing the company’s core capabilities in the constantly fluctuating global market environment.”

During the launch ceremony, guest speaker Professor Kim Hui-jip of the Graduate School of Public Administration of Seoul National University delivered a lecture on “The Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Development Direction of the Electric Power Industry.”
