Reading presentation and special lectures with the theme “Books have the answers”

 


KEPCO E&C hosted the “Deosaerom” Academy at the International Seminar Room on October 11.

“Deosaerom”, a creative innovation leader group, was founded last April 5 with the goal of reinforcing the executive meetings or board of directors and to present opinions on major policy decisions of the company.

This event was hosted as part of the “Deosaerom” program for enhancing self-development problem-solving skills. It included reading presentation session by teams, awarding ceremony of commemorating medal, and special expert lecture.

The event was attended by around 100 people from the “Deosaerom” leader group including President & CEO Koo-woun Park.

President Park awarded commemorating medals for “Deosaerom” to the attendants and encouraged employees to “act with pride as leaders who lead the corporate culture.”

In the special expert lecture that followed, Lee Chang-kun, director of the Korea Nuclear Energy Agency, gave a special lecture on the subject “Korean War and our way ahead.”

As an expert in energy, Director Lee Chang-kun emphasized the importance of becoming a leader who pioneers the future with confidence and historical sense of mission.

Since founding “Deosaerom,” last April, KEPCO E&C has been conducting proactive activities such as attendance in management meeting, dialogue with the president, and “Deosaerom” Academy.

In the future, KEPCO E&C plans to encourage the activities of the “Deosaerom” leader group through various programs and identify methods of accomplishing the visions of the company and solving impending issues through communication with the management board.
