The Design BG of KEPCO E&C’s plant division held a workshop on design experience data sharing and ethics of integrity on August 23.

About 80 staff members stationed in the plant division attended the workshop.

In the workshop, 77 pieces of design experience data collected from each project in the first half of this year were shared; the plan for reflecting 264 pieces of experience data collected from the second half of 2013 on the project of 1000 MW coal-fired power plant and its current progress status were also examined.

The plant division has held such workshop on design experience data sharing on a semiannual basis in order to secure design quality. The data thus shared are used for each project according to an implementation plan.

The plant division plans to disseminate the design experience data shared through this workshop to the employees who are working at each technical department. The division aims at securing advanced techniques and improving design quality through the continual sharing of design experience data.

Additionally, during the workshop, the main contents and violation cases of the "Improper Solicitation and Graft Act," which is to be enforced on September 28, were introduced; the participants also shared an understanding that they should strictly follow the code of ethics in every aspect of life so that the ethics of integrity becomes part of daily life.
